The Monroeville/Monroe County Chamber of Commerce is working to help its community become more competitive online. Chamber of Commerce members have a free, online presence through the chamber’s webpage, www.monroecountyal.com.

Now, members’ information will be broadcasted through the internet via the latest mobile technology.

With the assistance of ECTown USA, the chamber has launched two new mobile applications for both the Google Android and the Apple iPhone operating system. These apps are updated automatically by Chamber of Commerce staff and chamber members which login to update their ad networks.

Need information on community events in Monroe County? Looking for dates for the “To Kill A Mockingbird” play? Find a restaurant? Looking for building supplies? If the app is downloaded on your phone, simply click for these answers. This is a great way to keep track of community events, enter your own events, and shop local businesses that are chamber members.
