We answer your mail: The chamber replies to many inquiries about the area and about your business. We answer telephone, mail, email and online inquiries about the Monroe County region. The Chamber of Commerce is the "front door" to the Monroe County area.

We assist you with surveys, etc: We assist new, emerging and existing business with surveys and projects on an as-needed basis.

We arrange seminars and public meetings on topics of interest: From retail and small business seminars to forums such as "Coffee With Sylvia", a partnership with The Women's Business Center of Mobile, we are here to provide information on topics of concern to our members. The Chamber of Commerce has sponsored a Dale Carnegie class for 36 chamber members, etc... a retail forum and an export seminar.

We are your window on the worldwide web: The Chamber of Commerce maintains a webpage, www.monroecountyal.com, and we provide each chamber member with an abundance of online tools to promote your business. The Chamber of Commerce Webpage is "Your Community on Display.

We have a small business center, through the Alabama Entrepreneurial Research Network (AERN) and these resources are here to assist our membership and the general public. We assist with finding financing for your projects, as well as helping you find resources to accomplish your business plans ans marketing plans.

We plan events to promote the area: We host travel groups, conduct tours, and have numerous special events throughout the year, such as The Mockingbird Market, The Monroeville Christmas Parade, Homes Tours, etc.

We are your lobbyist: We work hard for our community, spearheading such projects as the El Camino East/West Corridor, U.S. Highway 84 Four-Laning Project. We maintain information on local, state and federal government representatives.

We are your information source: We maintain information on major employers, employment, demographics, taxes, state business incentives, available buildings, and new and emerging business.

We conduct community development forums: In May, the Chamber of Commerce will graduate its 16th class of "Monroe County Leadership Now." in December 2007, the Chamber of Commerce graduated its first class of "Youth Leadership Monroe County.
