The Monroeville/Monroe County Chamber of Commerce is proud to recognize Monroe County Museum as our February Business of the Month!  Located in the historic Old Courthouse and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Museum welcomes thousands of visitors each year. It features two permanent exhibits honoring Harper Lee and Truman Capote, celebrating Monroeville’s literary legacy.

While visiting, be sure to stop by The Bird’s Nest Gift Shop, located inside the Museum!  This charming shop offers a wonderful selection of gifts, Alabama-made items, and Monroeville souvenirs—perfect for visitors and locals alike!
