The Chamber is thrilled to announce that three local members were recently recognized as finalists in the 2020 Small Business Awards of Alabama. Presented annually by the Chamber of Commerce Association of Alabama (CCAA) and the Business Council of Alabama (BCA), the Small Business Awards of Alabama recognize the small businesses that are considered to be the state's very best small businesses based on a variety of civic and professional standards. On December 4, 2020, the businesses were honored during the CCAA and BCA Annual Meeting via Zoom video conference.
In the "Emerging Small Business of the Year" category, operating less than 5 years, Cole's Ice Cream and Coffee was recognized as a finalist. In the "Alabama Small Business of the Year" category, 1-10 employee category, United Bank, Monroeville branch was recognized as a finalist. In the "Alabama Small Business of the Year" category, 11-50 employees, R&R Contractors, LLC was recognized as a 2020 finalist.
